Holy moly, February! This warm weather has been unreal. 70 degree days in winter? Yes, please! The weather was so warm last weekend that I spent the majority of it outdoors, and the sun felt so good on my skin. This winter was the first winter in a long time…View Post
This plaid coat is pretty genius. It combines all of my favorite features in a coat — it’s warm, has beautiful nautical inspired toggles, a generous hood, deep pockets, and it’s pretty much my favorite print of all — plaid! This was one of my favorite investments this season. I…View Post
Chanel jackets are one of the most iconic pieces in the world of haute couture. The Tailored tweed jacket is all the rage. While the real deal can set you back anywhere from $5,000 to a whopping $30,000, there are much more affordable looks. J.Crew has several fabulous high-quality pieces…View Post
Coats have always been my favorite winter accessory. I don't know about you, but new outerwear is bound to make its way into my closet every year. Moncler is my hands down favorite outerwear line, and a brand I turn to time and time again. The quality, style, and femininity is unparalleled -- not to mention warm! Granted, their pieces are pricey, however their coats are timeless and will last you forever. It's a true investment piece and sure to keep you toasty all winter long. This season, I turned to this investment piece, which had been at the very top of my wishlist. I love the rugged military vibes and fur accents of this utilitarian down parka. It can basically be worn three different ways -- with vest attached, vest alone, and jacket without the lining. I love the versatility! The adjustable drawcords at the waist create a flattering shape and keep out chilly wind.
Ho ho ho! Christmas is officially in T-minus 6 days, and I'm getting in all of my classic plaids this week! Stewart plaid, black watch, tartan -- I love them all! I joked to one of my co-workers that I'm basically a real life Mrs. Claus. This time of year, there's something so cozy about a warm, soft red sweater and a pop of plaid -- don't you agree? This sweater is so amazingly soft and luxurious that I bought it in several colors. It's expensive, but the quality is very high. If you're in the market for a cable cashmere sweater, I highly recommend this one. I also adore this more affordable pom-pom version! These plaid pants in black watch and stewart plaid are amazing, and I bought both pairs. Sizing wise, these run small, so definitely order a size up. The stewart plaid appears to be sold out on the main website, but you can purchase them through Nordstrom or check back for restocking.
