Getting in the Holiday Spirit

I can’t believe Thanksgiving is almost here!  What a wild ride of a year.  I’m definitely looking forward to this holiday, as it’s quite possibly the last holiday I’ll be celebrating this year.  Hospitalizations are creeping up in New Jersey, and there are no guarantees that elective surgeries will continue if COVID hospitalizations implode.  There is a strong possibility I will get re-deployed to another part of the hospital, possibly to work with COVID patients.  My schedule may become erratic, and we certainly don’t know how many months of trouble lie ahead.  In the meantime, the only things getting me through this pandemic are Tracy Anderson Method online streaming and Netflix binge watching — new favorites are Emily in Paris and Queen of the South.

Needless to say, I’m getting in as much fashion as possible while I still can.  I’m definitely breaking out all of the tartan, black watch plaid, and festive outfits.  This black watch coat is an oldie but a goodie, however I found a near dupe on sale here.  There is also a cozy sweater blazer that has my name all over it!  The real star of this outfit, though, is this incredible cozy, stretchy sweater.  It looks and feels luxe without breaking the bank.  It comes in a million colors if red isn’t your jam. I have my eye on the chocolate brown.

Black watch coat (J.Crew, old), but I like this sale dupe and this cozy sweater blazer  //  Red sweater (only $39.50!) — fit is TTS, wearing a size small  //  Straight leg jeans — fit is TTS, wearing size 27  //  14k gold large hoop earrings — on sale //  Black watch loafers (J.Crew, old), but I love this year’s dupe and these stewart plaid ones  //  polka dot headband — on sale
