Hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend! I was fortunate enough to have a four-day weekend and sneak off to Montauk for a few days. The weather was beyond perfect!! The Northeast experienced an awful spring. It seemed like every time you blinked, it would be raining and cold. We really didn’t experience a true spring, so I was in disbelief that the weather turned out to be as nice as it did. It felt like a nice little birthday treat to myself, as my birthday was the weekend before. The weekend getaway was a little impulsive, but I’m SO glad that I booked the trip out East! The ocean is good for your soul. There is something about just being out there that makes me feel at home and safe. I can’t really describe it. Have you ever felt weirdly content somewhere?

I scooped up this gingham jumpsuit just in time for the trip. I love the little bow detail in the back. I decided to pair it with red leather strappy heels and these lightweight red beaded earrings. I wore this on my last night out there, and I think it was the perfect send off for the holiday weekend. The weather was a little cool at night. I wish I packed a jacket to put over my shoulders at night, but sometimes you just need to brave it all in the name of fashion! Thank goodness for heat lamps!
