New Year’s Eve Style

The second I saw these festive pants, I knew they had New Year’s Eve written all over them!  I just can’t get over how perfect these pants are for a party when you don’t want to go with the cliché New Year’s Eve dress.  NYE in New York City is cold!  Try hailing a cab after the clock strikes midnight — absolutely impossible!  There are many years when this look could have saved me from basically freezing to death on a NYC street.  I once spent two hours walking around downtown Manhattan and begged a NYPD officer to drive me home in the squad car (he said no).  Now I’ll gladly wear this ensemble to a cozy dinner party — and what could be better than the champs print?! 🥂 SOLD!

I paired these pants with a silk button down blouse with pearl button detail.  Another great option is a cream colored sweater, and I own this one in several colors.  The quality is top notch.  I paired the look with gold details and these fun, lightweight statement earrings.  The gold details keep the sparkle and glitz, without sacrificing style.

Vintage coat — I like is faux option for about $100!  //  Ralph Lauren silk button down shirt (old), but I like this silk bodysuit (up to 40% off with code HOLIDAYFUN)  //  Champagne printed pants — fit is TTS — up to 40% off with code HOLIDAY //  J.Crew gold metallic pumps (old), but I love this dupe and similar option for only $68!  //  Gucci gold clutch (old), but I love this nude staple and this more affordable option  //  Statement earrings (up to 40% off with code HOLIDAYFUN)  //  Celine sunglasses
