Rodial Skincare

I love trying out new skincare products. Nothing makes me happier than testing out the latest and greatest potions on the market.  Although Rodial is not a new brand to me, I was extremely excited when their team reached out to me to test some products from their new snake serum collection.  I’ve used their Bee Venom moisturizer before, and the first product I ever tried was the Dragon’s Blood Night Cream, which is AMAZING.  This is one of my holy grail moisturizers.  It packs a powerful punch of Retinol and Hyaluronic Acid, to effectively treat wrinkles and deeply moisturize skin.  It’s also one of their most affordable products.

Snake, the newest collection by Rodial, is an anti-aging range focusing on freezing and smoothing wrinkles.  The SYN®-AKE dipeptide mimics the effect of venom from the temple viper for a smoother complexion, leaving skin feeling smoother.  This formula is promoted for expression lines, smoothness, and deep wrinkles.

I gave all of the products a serious test drive over the past month, and my favorites are the Snake Mask and Snake Serum O2.  The mask contains licorice extract, which is excellent at treating hyperpigmentation.  I’ve always had freckles, and I unfortunately noticed more sun spots and melasma on my forehead and cheeks over the past two years.  I like incorporating serums into my beauty regimen lately, because they pack an extra moisture punch.  This serum keeps my skin dewy and tight for well over 12 hours.

Lastly, I’m obsessed with this smokey eye brush.  The short, densely packed bristles is the ideal precision tool for blending and smudging in intense pigment into the socket and lash lines.  I’m able to pack a lot of product onto the brush allowing for a flawless application.  I find myself reaching for this brush over and over again.  It’s definitely been in heavy rotation.  This palette features a great mix of neutral matte and shimmery shades, which is perfect for tucking into your purse or weekend bag.

Rodial is available at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Ulta, Saks, and Dermstore.
