It’s here! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale kicked off today for cardholders. Early access sale will go on until 7/20, and then everything will be open to the public. I look forward to this sale every year — it’s the summer version of holiday shopping — and have fond memories of this sale ever since I was a kid. Does anyone remember the days of 25 cent coffee and red balloons galore? As much as I like to claim I was a fashionista at birth, I do remember long days in the kids shoe department and picking out many back to school ensembles. Mom certainly prepped me to be a marathon shopper! #endurance 😉
Below are my picks for the sale, most of which found their way into my cart. I had the opportunity to shop in store today (because you know — traditions!), and I’ve included some of my reviews and sizing tips. Usually, I’m most excited for the beauty deals and stock up for the whole year. Another major pro about shopping this sale – Nordstrom‘s return policy is bomb, so you can always try and return/exchange #NSale purchases at no cost. When in doubt, I purchase two sizes and return one.
Chanel lip gloss set — I have a thing for glossimers, but this set is truly gorgeous! The colors are juicy and rose scented. Perfect wash of color for a summer day. Unlike many beauty sets, all of the colors are amazing!
Burberry jacket in navy — Unlike some merchandise manufactured for the sale (sorry, but these Tory shoes are a quality fail!), this jacket is of pure Burberry standards. I’d recommend sizing up if you’re new to Burberry quilted jackets. I purchased this in medium, for reference. The dark green is also beautiful!
Silk pillowcases — Since being introduced to silk pillowcases last year, I am highly addicted! I now sleep with one every night, and my hair and skin are very appreciative
Nike Flyknit sneakers — Snagged these in both pink and black. They run a bit big, so I sized down from my usual Nike size of 8.5 to 8. Update: Looks like the pink sold out currently, but check back for re-stocking!
Hanky Panky underwear — Per usual, I stocked up on my favorites at the sale. Also love the cross dye ones and these nude ones
Microdermabrasion tool — I had my first treatment this past spring, and I loved the results. Excited to try out this at home device.
Dr. Dennis Gross Extra Strength Alpha Beta peels — Simply the best alpha and beta hydroxyl acid peels on the market! I’ve used these for years, and love to stock up on great deals, such as this one. Leaves you with the most glowing skin!
