Barbour Beadnell Jacket in olive, also here (available in similar color here) TIPS: jacket runs small. Size up one size for snug fit, size up two sizes for roomier fit  //  Striped boatneck shirt (also available in other colors)  //  Tortoise necklace (40% off!)  //  Sunglasses  //  Denim jeans (old) similar style

My first impression of the Barbour jackets was a little mixed.  While I loved the preppy plaid details on the cuffs, lining, and collar, the jackets lean slightly masculine.  I saw these jackets styled by the always timeless beauty, Kate Middleton, and my perception changed.  I mean, let’s be real — Kate could wear a potato sack and still look chic!

Although the masculinity intimidated me a bit, I’m officially sold!  This jacket has become my go-to jacket for running errands, walking the dog, grabbing Starbucks, shopping, and less than ideal weather conditions.  My beloved Burberry quilted jacket has not seen as much wear now.  In terms of sizing, Barbour runs small.  I sized up from my normal US Size 4 to a Size 8 to accommodate layering heavier knits.
