While I had a blast in Las Vegas last week — Britney Spears was amazing & I won $80 on slots — I’m happy to be back to the cooler fall weather on the East Coast. It’s always so weird to come back from my travels to LV, because I’m usually not used to seeing trees for a good couple of days. I sure missed this beautiful fall foliage!
Coming off my Vegas trip, I’m glad I took this week off from work to recharge and get things done around the house. Traveling always gets the better of me. Strangely enough, I cannot adapt to jet lag. The entire week I was in Vegas, I was basically 3 hours ahead on New York time. I pretty much woke up every morning at 3 or 4 AM. Traveling across time zones is a big problem for me. If anyone has tips on how to adapt better to jet lag, please share. I tried in vain to pack my pillow on this trip, but I sadly over-packed my suitcase. Usually hotel pillows are a big problem for me, as I’m used to the memory foam neck support ones. Next time, I’ll have to save extra room in my suitcase.
