Ski sweater — also in red/turquoise (30% off with code GIVETHIS)  //  J.Crew red plaid popover (last season) similar here, and I love this inexpensive sleeveless option for layering with less bulk  //  Vince leggings  //  Camp socks (30% off with code GIVETHIS)  //  6″ Bean Boots  //  Sunnies

One of my favorite winter activities is skiing.  I’m a bit terrified of heights and crashing into trees, so I tend to avoid the scarier slopes, but I’m not halfway bad!  I think I developed a decent aptitude for skiing, because I played ice hockey for 10 years as a kid.  Pivoting the feet to initiate a turn or stop is very similar to a “hockey stop”.  It’s a really great workout and so much fun!

Based on my love for the sport, I totally fell in love with this ski sweater.  It’s cute, whimsical, and perfectly winter appropriate.  And for those of you who don’t ski or snowboard, you can indulge in some après ski in the cabin sweater — haha!  I love that version too and may need to keep it on my après Christmas wishlist.

There are some great promotions going on right now.  LOFT is offering 50% off sweaters and tops and an extra 50% off sale styles.  I like this fair isle sweater and this jacquard sweatshirt.  I’m also a huge fan of the Marisa pants, and these jacquard ones are perfect for the holidays.  GAP always has the BEST quality pjs, so if you’re stumped for a last minute gift, check out their site.  They’re offering 30% off or 40% off for cardholders.  I bought these true-to-size pajamas pants in a few colors — they’re so soft and comfortable.

Have a great weekend!
