I love a well-fitting blazer. I have some amazing J.Crew pieces from 2007-2008, when I first starting wearing the brand, but I’ve noticed a decline in quality over the last few years. I distinctly remember passing on a fitted navy blazer with nautical buttons, and I’ve regretted it ever since — don’t we always regret the things we don’t buy?! *sigh*
Cue the Brooks Brothers blazer — it’s the perfect fit and absolutely timeless. The blazer is flattering to every figure and made from Loro Piana Italian wool. It’s an investment piece, but surely one that I’ll have forever. I styled it here with a navy and gold chevron print shell and dark wash denim. These jeans have been one of my favorite new denim styles. They feel so good on and minimize the dreaded muffin top thanks to the high rise. I bought them in 3 different washes already, and I have my eye on the white version. When you love something, you should buy it in every color, right?
