There is something so cozy about a plaid cuffed jacket. You can throw it over practically anything, and it instantly polishes your look. Up until recently, the only plaid jackets in my closet were my beloved Burberry quilted jackets. I’ve had them forever, and I’ve worn them SO much that they could probably benefit from a spa weekend — haha!
This Barbour jacket has been popping up everywhere! It’s been worn by the likes of Kate Middleton and Olivia Palermo (two of my fashion idols), and recently one of my favorite bloggers, Kelly In The City, styled it.
I love the plaid cuffs and adorable corduroy detail on the neckline. The jacket has a boxy fit, much like Burberry’s version, and the sleeve length is perfect for my 5’4″ frame. I sized up, as I normally do with my outerwear, so I can accommodate some of my heavier sweaters underneath.
By the way, the sweater I’m wearing is the coziest thing ever! I snagged it in the navy blue as well, and I’m tempted by the lilac. It fits like a relaxed crew-neck sweatshirt, yet it’s the softest merino wool blend.

The boots and jackets are so fab, I love the rich colors and textures! That simple gold cuff is right up my alley too. This look is total understated elegance!
